Gustavo Guello, was born in São Paulo – SP, where he spent most of his life. During his childhood he lived for five years in Recife-PE. Son of an accountant father and a psychologist mother, he learned the importance of studying from an early age, and it was with this in mind that in 1998, he completed his Civil Engineering degree at Poli/USP (University of São Paulo). In 2002, he earned his master’s degree.

It was during his postgraduate studies that he met Luís Kaefer, his friend and partner with whom he created Smart Consulting. Both were passionate about technology and had a common dream: to bring digital transformation to companies, as they wanted to facilitate and improve the performance of business processes. And consequently, provide improvements in people’s lives.

For more than 20 years, Gustavo has dedicated himself to studying, customizing and implementing technological solutions, the result of this effort was that this year (2022), he received the FastTrack Recognized Solution Architect award from Microsoft for the third consecutive time, being the only in Latin America to receive it three times.

How does the award nomination and evaluation process work?

The nomination is made through a form and Microsoft partners recommend qualified solution architects. The deadline for registration is December 30th of the previous year. After that, a group of solution architects from the Dynamics 365 engineering team evaluate the candidates based on the architectural designs and quality of the project solutions they developed.

The evaluation process takes around 8 to 12 weeks. And applicants are notified of the decision via email, along with guidance on next steps for architects who have been accepted. This Award is a recognition that Microsoft gives to those who have in-depth architectural knowledge of Microsoft solutions, in the case of this award in particular the area of ​​enterprise architecture in Dynamics 365.
